Who runs it
Agustín Lobato has been the swineherd at Dehesa El Rincón since he was fifteen. The farm has been in his family since 1972. He is sixty-seven and his son is a lawyer in Madrid.

What we would do
If it joins @seis, Celia Durán would run it. She is the vet who has worked with Agustín since 2024. We would fit GPS collars to the sows and drinkers to the ponds that dry up in August. The oaks would still be pruned by hand.

What it gives now
Each acorn season around 340 pure Iberian pigs fatten on acorns and grass. That makes 680 hams a year with the Dehesa de Extremadura PDO. They cure for three years in the farm's own drying shed.
