About the farm

Traditional rain-fed Picual olive grove on the foothills of Sierra Magina, with a cooperative mill and PDO extra-virgin olive oil.
It covers 55 hectares of dry-stone terraces and century-old olive trees, a landscape worked by hand for generations.
History

The family has tended these century-old olive trees on dry-stone terraces for four generations. Each season the harvest runs from November to January, and the olives are milled the same day at the village cooperative.
The grove grew by joining inherited and purchased plots, so there are blocks of old rain-fed olives and a newer, closer-spaced patch near the farmhouse.
The oil carries the region's protected designation of origin, which prizes mountain Picual for its character and stability.
How we run the farm

Rain-fed with minimum tillage and cover crops in the lanes to curb erosion on the slopes, which is essential on mountain terraces.
Early beating harvest and same-day milling aim for top-quality oil, with low acidity and fresh aromas.
